To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of

National Volunteers Week

The Volunteer Centre is holding an open day

Thursday 4th June 2009

The Ball Room, Grand Hotel, Hartlepool

10:00 am - 3:30pm   

The event is to promote volunteering, and to recruit new volunteers for the ‘Volunteering into Training and Employment Project’. 

Joining us on the day will be; 

Hartlepool Community Network - Who will be one hand to offer advice on how you can become involved in local decision making.

Hartlepool Vinvolved - Who offer volunteering opportunities specifically tailored to under 25s such as one-off events, or long and short term pleacements.

Local Organisations who recruit volunteers in the retail and hospitality sector including; Hartlepool & District Hospice, Hartlepool Tall Ships Office, Heugh Gun Battery, Manor Residents, Red Cross, RSPCA, & Salvation Army

Local Training Providers including; East Durham College, Team Wearside, Test the Nation (A4e), and Zodiac Training

Everybody is welcome and refreshments will be provided.
